Diversity and Inclusion is a promise, a possibility and a problem.


It is not a simple, superficial puzzle that a few "quick wins" can achieve. We believe that working with an understanding of its complexity helps avoid simplistic off-the-peg solutions. We have successfully worked with many individuals, organisations and systems in engaging with the complex challenges, honestly, irreverently, compassionately and effectively.

Our practitioners are all the same in that they bring professionalism, knowledge, skill and commitment to their work. They embody difference in ethnicity, gender, faith, class, sexual orientation and identity, disability and thought. This professionalism and diversity give our interventions a grounding in the messy, complex beauty and contradiction of human systems. Working with this reality, with a passionate belief in our ability as a species to overcome the challenges we face, gives our work real power and holistic impact.

We have a proud track record in delivering projects and programmes that lead to environments in which people are more able to bring their whole selves, including typically unrecognised perspectives and talents, to their work and their wider lives. In order for greater diversity and inclusion to become a reality there needs to be a focus on equity. We bring that focus into all aspects of our work.

As well as paradigm changes in how we bring people into our organisations we need to think differently about how we treat people once they are in the organisation. These include developing the ability for all managers to create and effectively manage high performing, inclusive, equitable teams that work with the principles of a ‘Just Culture’.
